Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 20, 2026 · Effective Immediately for all future bookings
Please read these rules carefully
These terms define the legal rules between you and Safar Premium Travel. By visiting our site, accessing the app, or finalizing an online bus ticket booking, you confirm your absolute acceptance of these operational rules and guidelines.
Contractual Relationship
These Terms of Service govern your access and booking actions on Safar platforms. By booking a seat, you verify your contract with Safar Premium Travel. Safar acts as an experience aggregator and booking gateway between passengers and vetted regional fleet operators. The actual carriage services are delivered according to the operational safety rules of the respective carrier operator.
Booking and Identity Verification
All tickets are strictly non-transferable. Passengers must provide a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar card, Driver license, Passport) matching the booking name during boarding. Safar and operator supervisors reserve the absolute right to refuse boarding to any passenger whose identity documentation does not match the ticket record or fails security checks.
Cancellations, Seat Swaps, and Refunds
Cancellations can be filed directly through the app or website. Refund amounts are calculated based on the window between request and departure: (a) Over 24 hours: 90% refund, (b) 12 to 24 hours: 70% refund, (c) 6 to 12 hours: 50% refund, (d) Less than 6 hours: No refund. In rare scenarios where Safar or the fleet operator cancels the route, a 100% full refund is issued instantly.
Passenger Conduct and Onboard Safety
Safar operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, verbal abuse, or safety violations. All passengers must obey instructions issued by onboard highway supervisors and drivers. Onboard consumption of alcohol, smoking, or carrying hazardous substances is strictly illegal. Violators will be deboarded immediately at the nearest toll plaza and reported to highway police.
Baggage Allowance and Liability Limits
Each passenger is allowed one standard suitcase (up to 20kg) to be loaded in the secure lower luggage bay and one light cabin handbag (up to 5kg). Safar and fleet operators are not liable for cash, jewelry, or highly valuable electronic gadgets placed in cargo bays. Valuable items must remain in passenger custody inside the cabin at all times.
